[The recording clicks on, to the sound of slightly lost shuffling. Evidently someone doesn’t quite know what they’re doing. This lasts a short while, punctuated by frustrated muttering, until they eventually speak. Jaime’s voice is a pleasant thing to hear; gallant, roguish, and cheerful, tinted with laziness as though he knows this is simply someone’s private joke.] I have the most fleeting of suspicions that this is not fair Westeros. Maybe one of the Free Cities? Seems bizarre enough for it, am I correct? Smells better than Kings Landing, at any rate... What a quaint little dream this is. Better than some, at least, what with the lack of headless Starks or naked Briennes wandering around. Inevitably, one of the two will show up. It’s always the way. Wench? We-ench! Sweet sister? Tyrion? How very strange. I’d have expected at least one of the aforementioned to turn up… But then...
Hn. I remain single-handed.
That veers against the dream explanation, I suppose. |
